How it works

From first email to bank account in about 30 business days

Every step, who does it and how long it takes. You are informed at each stage — no chasing.

  1. Day 1

    Consultation and fixed quote

You describe the business. We confirm the structure, activity codes and total cost in writing.

  2. Days 2–7

    Documents prepared and signed

We send ready-made documents. You sign the power of attorney at a notary in your country and have it apostilled.

  3. Days 7–12

    Notary and share capital

The founding act is certified in Sarajevo and the share capital is paid into a temporary account.

  4. Days 12–25

    Court and tax registration

The municipal court registers the company; we obtain the tax ID, statistics number and company stamp.

  5. Days 25–30

    Bank account and handover

The corporate account is opened and you receive every document, scanned and in original, with an English summary.

Discretion is the default, not an add-on

Many of our clients prefer that nobody knows they are opening a company, or when. We work accordingly.

How confidential formation works
  • We never name clients — no testimonials, logos or case studies, ever
  • Confidentiality agreement signed before you send documents, on request
  • Company correspondence goes to our registered address, not your home
  • One named coordinator; your file is not shared beyond those who need it

Honest note: the Bosnian court register is public and lists founders and directors. We show you exactly what will be visible and which lawful structures — such as founding through an existing holding company — reduce personal exposure.

Questions

What founders ask us first

Short, direct answers. Our guides go into detail.

Can a foreigner own 100% of a company in Bosnia and Herzegovina?

Yes. A foreign individual or a foreign company can be the sole founder and owner of a Bosnian d.o.o. (limited liability company). No local partner or local director is required.

Do I have to travel to Bosnia?

No. You sign a power of attorney in front of a notary in your country, have it apostilled, and we carry out every step in Bosnia on your behalf. Some banks ask for a short video call or an in-person visit to open the account; we tell you in advance which bank requires what.

How long does it take?

Usually 15 to 30 business days from the moment we receive your apostilled documents. Court registration is the longest step; the tax number and statistics registration follow within days.

What does it cost in total?

Formation is €2,490 one-time. Packages that include registered address, accounting and administration for the first 6 or 12 months cost €3,999 and €5,990. State and notary fees in Bosnia are included. What is not included — your share capital, documents from your own country and bank fees — is listed on the pricing page.

What documents do I need?

A valid passport, and if a company is the founder, its certificate of incorporation. Foreign documents must be notarised and apostilled (or legalised if your country is not part of the Apostille Convention). We send you a personal checklist and the documents to sign, ready-made.

Do I need a Bosnian address?

The company needs a registered seat in Bosnia. Our registered address and virtual office service provides it, including receiving and scanning official mail.

Can the company stay confidential?

We never publish or disclose who our clients are. Note that by law the Bosnian court register lists the company’s founders and directors. We explain exactly what becomes public and which lawful structures can limit personal exposure.

Does a company give me a residence permit?

Owning or managing a company can be the basis for a temporary residence and work permit application. Approval is decided by the authorities, so we never guarantee an outcome, but we prepare and coordinate the application.
